Their small (11 people) but mighty team works with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Netflix, Bloomberg, TikTok, and IBM.
The history of the company began with college friends Zaheer Mohiuddin and Zuhayeer Musa who graduated and began to look for a job in the software industry. There was enough factual information about vacancies, but the main question that bothered recent graduates was how much did employees in this industry earn? Of course, information on this issue is often hidden by technology companies, so friends came up with the idea - why not start a company that will provide potential candidates with such information? So, this is where the story of Levels.fyi began!
Levels.fyi’s negotiation service has been growing significantly, and has become the company’s largest revenue stream in just a few months. Levels.fyi’s negotiators help with drafting emails and call scripts, and even can provide mock negotiations. They’ve shown signs of success so far—the founders say that some candidates who’ve used their service have increased their first-year compensation by $80,000 to $130,000.
Currently, they are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative with a strong focus on personalized outreach to drive our lead generation efforts. You will be responsible for crafting customized LinkedIn messages to connect with key decision-makers, building relationships, and booking meetings. If you have experience in the compensation/HR space, this would be a significant advantage.
Main responsibilities:
Execute personalized LinkedIn outreach to Heads of Compensation, Total Rewards, and Compensation Analysts using the founder's accounts.
Research profiles thoroughly to craft highly customized and relevant LinkedIn connection requests and follow-up messages.
Send emails as a secondary outreach method when necessary.
Manage and track outreach efforts using Close CRM.
Maintain a pipeline and consistently book meetings, aiming for 25+ meetings per month.
Qualifications:
Strong written communication skills in English.
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a similar role.
Ability to craft personalized, compelling LinkedIn messages that stand out from typical sales outreach.
Familiarity with using LinkedIn (basic version) for outreach and pipeline building.
Comfortable working with Close CRM or similar tools for tracking activities.
Self-motivated, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
Persistence - you do not hesitate to write lots of follow-ups or call them when potential clients are not answering, and you will continue reaching out to them until you get a clear yes/no response.
Excellent organizing skills - you track each step in the system, always check that everything is done on time, never forget about clients and proactively follow them up, always put all the needed information into the needed folders/databases, etc.
Not necessary but will be a great plus:
Experience in the compensation/HR domain is a plus but not required.
Previous experience working in the US market or with US-based clients is highly desirable.
Working hours:
To make sure you can work with clients in the US and your team members, we’ll need you to be ready to have an approximate schedule of working from 9 am to 5 pm in the California time zone (you may check the time difference via the link).
