We are seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Analyst to join Black Lion's team. This mid-to-upper-level role will focus on underwriting new deals, lease abstraction, financial forecasting, and market analysis. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills to support high-profile real estate acquisitions and developments.

Responsibilities:

• Underwrite commercial real estate deals ranging from $20M to $100M, primarily office and retail assets.

• Perform lease abstraction to extract key financial and operational terms from lease agreements.

• Utilize ARGUS and Excel to develop detailed financial models and cash flow projections.

• Conduct financial forecasting and market research to support investment decision-making.

• Analyze market trends, rental rates, and occupancy levels to assess asset performance.

• Assist in due diligence by reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and property reports.

• Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Work closely with senior leadership to identify and execute strategic investment opportunities.

The ideal candidate has:

• 3-5+ years of experience in real estate investment, underwriting, or financial modeling.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Proficiency in ARGUS Enterprise and Excel (both are mandatory).

• A strong understanding of lease abstraction, cash flow modeling, and valuation methodologies.

• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment.

• Strong English communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.

Working hours:

You’ll need to adjust your schedule to work from 8 am and 5 pm EST daily (check the time difference via this link).
