We are looking for a Product Analyst to strengthen the Truv analytics team. In this role, you will focus on uncovering insights, building a robust BI system, and establishing effective collaboration processes with both product and technical teams. What you'll do:
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to analyze user behavior and feature performance to influence product direction.
Design and implement processes for hypothesis testing and feature evaluation in a startup environment where agility and speed are key.
Build dashboards and deep-dive analyses using ClickHouse, Metabase, SQL, and Python to uncover insights and support strategic decisions.
Help close the gap between product and analytics teams by proactively driving strategic research and pushing for better alignment and processes.
Own and lead 1–2 analytics focus areas (e.g. onboarding funnel, user retention, product engagement) within the first few months.
Collaborate with the data engineer to occasionally assist in light ETL work and help improve analytics infrastructure over time.
Leverage AI tools (e.g., OpenAI API) for data analysis and insight generation when helpful.
What you'll bring:
5+ years of experience in product or business analytics, ideally in tech-focused startups and/or established companies
Strong skills in Clickhouse, SQL, Python (pandas, NumPy, etc.) for analytics, and Metabase (or similar BI tools)
A track record of working autonomously and driving projects from start to finish in small or cross-functional teams
Experience with product analytics, especially feature usage, user behavior, funnels, and cohort analysisExperience in B2B or B2B2C tech companies, especially in fintech
Familiarity with both startup-style pace and best practices from larger companies — someone who can thrive in ambiguity but push toward excellence
Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various departments.
You're a go-getter and quick learner who excels in cross-functional collaboration.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment where analytical rigor and attention to detail are key to success.
You enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams, bringing insights to life through collaboration and effective communication.
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Nice to have
Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Airflow), analytics event systems, and AI tools (OpenAI API, prompt engineering)
Russian language skills are helpful (many of our engineers are Russian-speaking), but not required
Working hours:
To make sure you cover most of the US time zones, we’ll need you to be ready to have an approximate schedule of working from either 8 am to 4 pm EST OR 9 am to 5 pm EST (you may check the time difference via the link).
