Product Manager (Construction Tech & Geospatial Solutions) for TraceAir – a US-based site work intelligence software that empowers construction teams with critical data at their fingertips
TraceAir is a construction SaaS startup that provides data analytics to construction teams to help them better manage their job sites. We currently work with top land developers, home builders, contractors, and engineers across the US and Canada. This is a great chance to work with a fast-growing Series B company.
About the Role
We're looking for a bold, creative Product Manager to lead the charge on expanding our software-based revenue. You'll identify opportunities to bring measurable value to homebuilders and land developers—whether by launching new products, enhancing existing features, or uncovering game-changing workflow automations.
TraceAir is entering new stages of the construction lifecycle and engaging with a broader set of stakeholders. Your mission will be to deeply understand these users, validate product hypotheses quickly, and ship solutions that solve real problems. You’ll own one of our most promising new product initiatives—taking it from MVP to validated solution, with the potential to secure 2026 roadmap and budget buy-in.
This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the VP of Product. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, GIS, design, customer success, and our U.S.-based strategy & innovations team.
What You'll Do
Own a product line: take full ownership of a new product, validating market need and evolving it into a scalable offering by year-end.
Validate fast: launch scrappy MVPs, test critical assumptions, talk to customers, and iterate rapidly.
Drive revenue: develop and execute product strategies that generate new software revenue streams in construction tech.
Collaborate deeply: work cross-functionally with design, engineering, customer success, and sales to bring products to life.
Conduct user research: lead interviews and shadow workflows to uncover pain points and identify real opportunities.
Automate workflows: design tools that replace manual, outdated workflows with scalable, modern solutions.
Stay grounded in reality: balance bold hypotheses with structured validation. Be decisive, but recalibrate based on feedback.
Track impact: define and monitor success metrics for everything you build.
What we’re looking for
3+ years in product management or a related role in a B2B tech company
Experience or education related to geospatial tech, GIS, CAD, drone data, surveying, or construction strongly preferred
Rapid prototyping mindset - you’re comfortable failing fast and iterating even faster
Strong opinions, loosely held - you don’t wait for perfect data; you form a hypothesis, validate it, and adapt
Technical understanding to collaborate closely with developers and GIS engineers
User research pro - you know how to ask the right questions, not just build what users say they want
Ability to work across time zones, especially EU and U.S. hours (Spain: ~13:00–22:00 CET overlap is typical)
Ownership mentality - you don’t wait for direction; you make decisions and move fast
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with agile product development (certifications like PSPO are a bonus)
Why TraceAir?
Impact: Build tech that helps shape cities and communities across the U.S.
Autonomy: Own your product, your roadmap, and your schedule
Growth: We're growing fast—this role could evolve into a team lead position within 12–18 months
Culture: No bureaucracy, no endless meetings—just smart, driven people building real solutions
Opportunity: The market is underserved and wide open. You won’t be competing with 10 similar tools—you’ll be inventing the category.
Application deadline: ASAP.
Please note that the later you apply - the more intensive your selection process will be, for example, you will have less time for the test assignment, etc.
