SMM & Content Marketing Specialist (Part-Time, Legal Marketing)

Mestechkin Law Group P.C. is a New York–based law firm focused on trademarks, intellectual property, and commercial litigation. We work with business owners and companies that care about protecting what they build — and want to understand how and why legal protection works.
We’re looking for a hands-on marketing specialist to take ownership of our online presence and help us turn legal expertise into clear, educational content. This is our first dedicated marketing role, so there is real room to shape how the firm shows up online.
What you’ll be responsible for
You’ll be working directly with the firm’s founder and one internal stakeholder, managing marketing activities end-to-end.
Your scope will include:
Managing and growing the firm’s presence across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and others where relevant)
Creating and publishing 2–3 articles per week on topics such as:
Trademarks and intellectual property
Commercial litigation
Contracts and business protection
Turning long-form content into social posts and maintaining consistent messaging across channels
Reviewing the current website and social presence and suggesting content improvements
Proactively proposing topics, formats, and ideas — not just executing briefs
Coordinating content review and approvals before publication
What we’re looking for
Proven experience managing social media and content for a business, service provider, or professional firm
Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear, educational, and accurate content
Comfort working independently and taking ownership of marketing activities
Ability to evaluate an existing website and suggest meaningful content improvements
Experience working with content approvals and feedback
English fluency (written and spoken)
Legal background is not required, but the ability to understand and clearly communicate legal concepts is essential.

Consistent delivery of 2–3 high-quality articles per week
Regular, timely publishing across social platforms
Visible improvement in content quality and brand presence
Thoughtful suggestions and a proactive approach, not passive execution
Taking real ownership of marketing visibility and promotion
