The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with structured data, and capable of executing independently within defined standards.

Audit & Gap Identification
Conduct a structured audit of existing product records to evaluate completeness, internal consistency, and alignment with retailer ingestion requirements
Identify missing, conflicting, or outdated attributes that may block syndication, suppress discoverability, or cause retailer content rejection
Validate variant relationships (parent-child hierarchy, pack configuration, flavor/format mapping) to ensure correct grouping and navigation on retailer PDPs
Cross-reference brand sources, VIP logistics data, and retailer specifications to detect discrepancies affecting accuracy and shopper trust
Document retailer-specific compliance gaps and prioritize fixes based on risk to publishing, filtering, and search indexing
Data Enrichment & Standardization

Normalize units, formatting, and measurement conventions to ensure consistency across SKUs and prevent ingestion conflicts across retailers
Align naming conventions and variant structures to create a clear, scalable catalog architecture across product families
Standardize attribute values to retailer taxonomies to improve discoverability in category navigation and search refinement
Resolve duplicate or conflicting entries to prevent catalog fragmentation and shopper confusion
Publishing & Validation
Publish updated product records in Salsify following validation and readiness checks
Verify downstream propagation to retailer endpoints and confirm data acceptance where applicable
Perform post-publish QA to confirm correct mapping, grouping, and visible PDP output
Maintain a structured change log to ensure traceability and support future updates or troubleshooting
II. Product Detail Page (PDP) Content Optimization
Create, rewrite, and optimize PDP content to meet retailer requirements and brand guidelines.
Retailer-Specific Descriptions
Develop retailer-tailored descriptions optimized for platform formatting rules, character limits, and merchandising expectations
Adapt messaging to category shopper behavior while maintaining brand positioning

Bullet Points

Prioritize decision-making information that reduces hesitation and improves conversion confidence
Format bullets per retailer rules to maximize readability and prevent formatting rejection
Product Attributes
Populate merchandising attributes that power filtering, faceting, and recommendation systems
Align attributes to retailer taxonomy logic to improve category placement and search coverage
Optimize attribute coverage to support algorithmic ranking and shelf visibility
Product Titles
Rewrite titles following retailer naming logic and indexing patterns
Include required identifiers (brand, varietal, size, pack configuration) in priority order
Maintain consistent structure across variants to strengthen search matching and reduce duplication
Enhanced / Rich Content

Align content hierarchy with shopper decision journey from awareness to purchase
Ensure mobile-friendly readability and clear visual scanning behavior
Coordinate copy and assets to create cohesive brand presentation across products
