Marketing Specialist (Part-time, 10 hrs/week, US hours)
About the company
A fast-growing US-based provider of an innovative dry-fog sanitization and disinfection technology. The solution uses a dense, non-toxic, dry fog made from organic materials that permeates walls, HVAC systems, furniture, and fabrics — eliminating mold, bacteria, viruses, and odors without leaving residue or forcing occupants to evacuate.
Already trusted by customers across multiple countries, the US operation is led by a founding team with big plans to scale. The business has product–market fit, inbound leads arriving daily through Google, ChatGPT, and referrals, and a lean operating model supported by specialized partners.
About the role
They're looking for a Marketing Specialist who thinks in strategy and executes with structure. You'll own the marketing function end-to-end: building lead-generation plans, running email campaigns, managing the CRM, developing referral and B2B partnerships, and using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and others) as force multipliers to move faster and work smarter.
This is not a "post on Instagram three times a week" role. Social is one channel, not the whole job.
The founders are visionary, delegate-friendly operators — they need someone structured, proactive, and process-minded who can complement them by thinking through the marketing flywheel and actually making it turn. You'll start at 10 hours/week, with a clear path to full-time as the company scales. As you grow into the role, you'll have the opportunity to take broader ownership — potentially across CRM, call-center coordination, and additional operational processes.
Who this is a great fit for
Builders who love owning end-to-end — from strategy to ship
Marketers with an abundance mindset who want to grow with a company, not just clock hours
People who treat AI tools as a multiplier, not a replacement for thinking
Self-starters who are comfortable operating without hand-holding
What you'll do
Build and execute a lead-generation strategy across digital, email, and referral channels (B2C primary, with a significant B2B opportunity in property management and commercial spaces)
Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and others) to accelerate research, copywriting, campaign building, and reporting — and set up lightweight automations where they make sense
Own the CRM — segment lists, build nurture sequences, keep data clean, and track pipeline
Plan and run email campaigns to prospects, existing customers, and prospective referral partners
Identify and build relationships with referral partners — research prospects, design outreach, track results
Coordinate social media as one channel in the mix (not the whole job)
Partner with existing vendors (call center, website/CRM manager, paid media partners) and hold them accountable to clear briefs and KPIs
Audit what's working, flag what isn't, and bring ideas forward — proactively
Report on what's driving leads, conversions, and revenue — and iterate
What you bring
2–3 years of experience in B2C and/or B2B marketing, ideally in a small, scrappy team or early-stage company
Experience in both strategy and execution — you can build a plan and also ship it
Hands-on CRM experience (any email platform management, list segmentation, basic automations)
Demonstrated ability to run email campaigns end-to-end — from list and copy to send and reporting
Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) as a force multiplier — not a crutch; you know when AI helps and when human judgment matters
Clear, confident written and spoken English
Structured, detail-oriented, and process-minded — you like making things organized and repeatable
Proactive and self-directed — you research first, then ask; you bring ideas, not just questions
A curious learner who stays current on marketing tech
Nice to have
Experience in home services, wellness, consumer health, commercial cleaning, property / facilities, or a product-led service business
Exposure to referral partnership programs
Basic comfort building light automations (Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar)
Experience coordinating external vendors or agencies
Working hours
Part-time to start — 10 hours/week (approximately 2 hours/day)
Clear growth path into a full-time role as the business scales
Fully remote
Daily overlap with US business hours expected for founder collaboration
What they offer
Long-term growth opportunity: this role is designed to expand into full-time as you grow into it and the company scales — a minimum 1.5+ year commitment is expected
Direct access to entrepreneurial founders who delegate real ownership and don't micromanage
A rare chance to build the marketing function from the ground up in a company with traction, a differentiated product, and an international footprint
Fully remote work — all you need is a reliable Internet connection and computer
