About the role:
The company needs a performance-oriented, data-driven professional to own unit economics, manage the existing contractor and agency relationships, oversee a website conversion-rate project, and bring operational clarity to all marketing channels — without building a function from scratch.
We're opening this role as a fractional engagement (15–20 hours per week) because we want to find the right person before making a full-time commitment. If you hit the ground running and deliver in the first 90 days, full-time conversion is the expected next step — not a vague possibility.
What the path looks like:
Months 1–3: Fractional (15–20 hrs/week) — build the dashboard, own reporting, run first experiments
Month 3+: Full-time conversion based on performance and mutual fit
Long-term: Senior growth leadership role as the company scales across new markets
Key Responsibilities:
Analytics & Reporting
Build and own a central marketing dashboard that tracks all key metrics: CAC, LTV, payback period, lead volume, conversion rates, and channel ROI across all five markets.
Deliver structured reports to the CEO enabling data-driven budget and strategy decisions.
Audit current tracking infrastructure (GA4, call tracking, CRM) and ensure data accuracy.
Channel Management & Optimization
Manage and optimize active acquisition channels: Yelp, Thumbtack, Local Service Ads (LSA), organic SEO (including Google Map Pack), and word-of-mouth initiatives.
Monitor SEO agency performance; run bi-weekly check-ins and review monthly reports.
Identify which channels over- and under-perform by market; recommend budget reallocation.
Website CRO
Work with the current agency managing the WordPress site to run structured A/B tests aimed at improving conversion rate.
Apply visual judgment to identify UX and copy changes that improve lead conversion (e.g., CTA placement, colour, form design).
Track and report on test outcomes with clear metrics.
Unit Economics & Strategy
Own CAC, LTV, and payback metrics broken down by market and service type.
Develop and maintain a channel-level performance framework to guide investment decisions.
Bring strategic thinking to seasonal planning.
Propose and execute growth experiments independently once trust is established.
Operations & Email Marketing
Maintain and improve the email marketing strategy currently run internally.
Coordinate internally with the Head of Customer Acquisition on shared initiatives.
What Success Looks Like — First 90 Days
Marketing dashboard is live, accurate, and actively used by leadership for decisions.
All channel data is clean, attributed, and segmented by market.
At least one A/B test is running on the website with measurable results.
Weekly and monthly reporting cadence is established and maintained.
Budget recommendations based on channel performance have been delivered.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in performance or growth marketing.
Strong analytical skills — GA4, attribution modelling, unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback).
Experience managing SEO agencies as a client and evaluating their output.
Solid understanding of local SEO and multi-location business dynamics.
Hands-on experience with platforms such as Yelp Ads, Thumbtack, or LSA.
Fluent English (written and verbal) — all agency and client communications are in English.
Comfortable operating as an individual contributor with minimal oversight.
Nice to Have
Experience in home services, moving, or other local service businesses.
Experience with CRO and A/B testing on WordPress.
Familiarity with email marketing automation.
Experience building reporting frameworks from scratch.
Working hours:
To make sure you can collaborate with the founder and internal team based in the US, we'll need you to be available from 9 am to 12 pm Pacific Time on weekdays (check your time zone via this link). Outside of this window, your schedule is flexible — you manage your own time and deliver results autonomously. These three hours are the core active window for syncs, reviews, and quick decisions.
What we offer:
— Fractional engagement starting at 15–20 hours per week, with a clear and expected path to full-time conversion within 3 months based on performance and mutual fit.
— Fully remote work. You may be based in almost any country or city — all we need is a great internet connection, a reliable setup, and availability from 9 am to 12 pm Pacific Time on weekdays.
— Direct access to the founder. You will work closely with Vlad, report directly to him, and have real influence over growth strategy across five US markets. No layers, no bureaucracy.
— Ownership from day one. You will not be executing someone else's plan — you will be building the reporting framework, shaping the channel strategy, and running experiments with meaningful budget implications.
— A business with real traction. Royal Moving & Storage has a strong organic presence and zero dependency on PPC. The foundation is solid — your job is to scale it.
— Salary is paid in USD, your expectations will be discussed during the interview.
